Administration

Administrator Guide

Workspace governance, staff management, modules, and settings.

Administrator responsibilities

Workspace Owners and Administrators manage people, modules, billing, and governance. This guide reflects Version 1 capabilities only.

Staff management

Navigate to Admin → Staff to:

  • Invite new staff by email
  • Set role (Administrator or Staff)
  • Assign job titles for display and permissions context
  • Remove or change roles (Owners only for promote/demote to Owner)

Pending invitations count toward your plan's staff limit until accepted or expired (14 days).

Module configuration

Go to Settings → Modules to enable or disable product areas per workspace:

ModulePurpose
Client HubClients, Client 360, portal users, orders
IntakePublic enquiry forms
CRMPipeline and opportunities
TicketingSupport tickets
Documents & KnowledgeRead-only knowledge library
MSP bundle (legacy)Phone, invoices, reports, internet — for migrated MSP workspaces only

Disabling a module hides its navigation and guards related actions. Data is retained but inaccessible until re-enabled.

Workspace settings

Settings → General — workspace name, slug, and archive (Owner).

Settings → Billing — subscription, plan changes, and Stripe Customer Portal.

Transfer ownership — Owners can transfer workspace ownership to another Administrator from General settings.

Permissions model

Version 1 uses role-based access:

  • Owners — unrestricted within the workspace
  • Administrators — staff and settings (not ownership transfer)
  • Staff — operational access; some admin routes are restricted

Client portal users are scoped to their own client records only.

Platform admin (AllSide Systems)

Internal platform operators use a separate platform admin area — not available to customer workspace administrators.

Audit and security

See the Security documentation for authentication, data isolation, and security practices.
